On February 18, 2021, the team of Tian Changlin (science consultant of Hefei KS-V Peptide) of the University of Science and Technology of China and Lei Liu team of Tsinghua University jointly published an article on Cell Research, titled: "Structural mechanism of cooperative activation of the human calcium-sensing receptor by Ca2+ ions and L-tryptophan". This study is the first to report the three-dimensional structure of human full-length CaSR protein under four different conditions. The activation mechanism of CaSR is clarified for the first time through structural analysis (as below pictures shown):
